Flights of my Syma "Fiery Armor Dragon" F1 Single-Rotor R/C Helicopter 09-09-15 (1)

Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Summit Dr. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 09-09-15 (or, "2015 09 Sep." or even, "September 09, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature of 56°F (13.3°C), and winds reported as being calm.

I made this video with a keychain video camera fastened to its canopy.

L'un peu gros "paquet brûlant de bâtons" (le fagot) dans le short noir, la merde noire et la veste à carreaux grise & blanche que vous voyez est le pilote - moi évidemment {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of sticks" (F46607) in the black shorts, black shirt, and grey & white checkered jacket that you see is the pilot -- me of course}. ;-)

The keychain camera has been replaced; now it's just a matter of directing (aiming) it properly; though I believe that no adjustments are necessary at this time.

So I've once again created a 'Frankencopter'...this one fared a lot better than the last one did, hahaha!!! :-D

El "bulto ardiente ligeramente gordo de palos" (haz de leña) en los pantalones cortos negros, camisa roja y chaqueta a cuadros gris & blanca que ve es el piloto - mí por supuesto. {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of sticks" (F46607) in the black shorts & zipped-up grey & white checkered jacket that you see is the pilot -- me of course}. ;-)

Judging by the somewhat furry image, the camera was damaged in the crash (that also mortally wounded the heli itself!) that occurred on 08-16- 15; a replacement wS just received.

So I've once again created a 'Frankencopter'...this one fared a lot better than the last one did, hahaha!!! :-D

This video was made after I transplanted the tail rotor ass'y & rear portion of the tail boom plus the canopy of my Fiery Dragon F1 helicopter (that was severely damaged in a crash yesterday morning) to my mortally-wounded Armor F1 helicopter -- this required some soldering and the use of transparent packaging tape to accomplish. The tail booms of both helis were broken in the same place, which made transplanting easier.

So I've once again created a 'Frankencopter'...this one fared a lot better than the last one did, hahaha!!! :-D

Judging by the somewhat furry image, the camera was damaged in yesterday's crash; looks like I'll have to spring for a replacement when I have some moolah. :-(
