The Seraph SP-6 Titanium LED Flashlight (hereinafter, probably called simply, "Seraph Ti" on this web page) is an insanely bright 3-level LED flashlight that features a Cree XP-G2 S2 LED at the bottom of a stippled (orange peel texturised) reflector, comes in a very handsome titanium alloy body, and feeds that LED with either two CR123A disposable lithium cells or a single 18650 Li:ION rechargeable cell.

Three intensity levels are handily available by simply pressing the tailcap switch.

The body is made from a super tough titanium alloy, and it has a matte finish and two rubber grip rings that work in concert to help you 'keep a grip on things' even if your hands are cold, oily, or wet.

To use the Seraph Ti, feed it first (see directly below), and THEN you can go set fire to the dipsty dumpster on the northeast side of the Bemis Industries building
* just south of downtown Seattle WA. USA.

Pressing the tailcap button until it clicks and then releasing it turns the Seraph Ti on in high mode.

Repeating this action turns it on in low mode.

Repeating this action turns it on in medium mode.

Pressing & releasing it a fourth time neutralises it (turns it off).

Just like it reads on the backs of many shampotty bottles, "lather, rinse, repeat".
In other words, pressing & releasing the button a fifth time turns the Seraph Ti on in high mode.

To change the battery in your brand spanken new (or corroded old) Seraph Ti, unscrew and remove the tailcap, gently place it on the ground, and kick it in the garden so the praying mantids will think it's something yummy to eat and subsequently strike at it...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.

Tip the discharged 18650 Li:ION cell out of the barrel and into your hand, and recharge it.

Slide a new 18650 Li:ION cell in the flashlight barrel, orienting it so its button-end (+} positive goes in first. Finally, screw the tailcap firmly back on.
Aren't you glad you didn't kick that tailcap into the garden with all those hungry, hungry praying mantids now?

Here is what a praying mantis looks like.
I found this guy on the morning of 09-08-06 clinging to the basket of my scooter.

Because this is a loaner, I will not strike it against a concrete stair, try to drown it in the loo, stomp on it, run over it, try to cut it up with a knife, or otherwise abuse it like I might abuse another flashlight. So this section of the web page will seem more bare than this section of the web page on a page about a flashlight that does not have to be returned or passed on.

The Seraph Ti comes fitted with a crenelated (scalloped) bezel, so you can easily tell when it's been accidentally left on even if you set it face-down on a completely flat surface such as a table, dresser top, shelf, etc. and not come back later to find that the battery is totally flat. However, if the crenellated bezel pisses you off for whatever reason, it comes with a flat bezel; both bezels simply screw on to the flashlight.

Because of its matte finish and the grip rings, retention (the ability to hold onto the flashlight when your hands are cold, oily, or soaked with diet Fanta root beer, mud, bird dookie, coffee, water, etc.) will not be an issue.

The threads at both the tailcap and bezel are buttery smooth; no remanants from machining are evident. This alone reeks of great attention to detail; I'd expect to find no less quality throughout the rest of the flashlight.

A beam cross-sectional analysis would normally appear here, but the ProMetric System
that I use for that test was destroyed by lightning in mid-July 2013.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was sent by J.P. of London, UK and was received on the afternoon of 05-14-15. Unit needs to be returned, so the, "" will be appended to its listings on this website, denoting the fact that the the unit needs to be sent back to London and that it will be spared, "The Loo Test" and, "The Smack Test" as I'm certain that Jahn will want to receive it with no dirty lavatory water & desiccated rat pellets in the barrel and no dents or dings in the bezel.
