The 7x LED 2x D Cell Flashlight has good intensity, but that's about all that it has going for it.

The 7x LED 2x D Cell Flashlight has 7 high-powered phosphor white LEDs near the bottoms of individual little reflectors for them and it feeds from two D cells.

It comes in an all-plastic body and protects its LEDs with a water-clear transparent window.

Install a pair of D cells in it (see directly below) and THEN you can find out if the bloody thing works.

Slide the yellow slide switch on the barrel toward the bezel (front) of the flashlight to turn it on.

Slide the same switch to the back (toward the tailcap) to neutralise the flashlight.



To change the batteries in the 7x LED 2x D Cell Flashlight, unscrew the bezel (the yellow piece in the front) until it comes off, and set it aside.

Tip the used D cells out of the barrel if necessary, and dispose of or recycle them as you see fit.

Insert two new D cells into the barrel, orienting them so that their button-ends (+) positives face upward.

Screw the bezel back on, and be done with it.



The 7x LED 2x D Cell Flashlight appears to be reasonably durable (
but it's not -- see below!), but it isn't entirely waterproof. When the flashlight was relieved of its batteries and then suctioned, air leaked in at least through the switch. So try not to drop the 7x LED 2x D Cell Flashlight into a creek, river, pond, lake, oceanside, puddle of bear pee, snowbank, puddle, or other water or water-like liquids.

I gave it The Smack Test -- 12 strikes against a brick wall; seven strikes against the tailcap and five against the side of the bezel.
The switch fell off during the test; I was unable to reassemble the flashlight and have it function again.

As you can see, the switch popped off and flew away. After retrieving the piece, I was unable to make the flashlight function again.

Would I really beat the living tweedle out of a flashlight that I paid perfectly good money for?
You bet your sweat patootie I would, if it's in the name of science.

The quality of light generated by this flashlight was surprisingly good -- I say "was" here because the test unit was destroyed before testing could be completed.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was purchased at the Happy Market in Fresno CA. USA on 07-01-20.
After it flunked The Smack Test, I exchanged it for another that was deader than a doorknob straight out of the package. So I exchanged it for the last one they had, and that one was defective as well.

So I have no choise but to append that dreadful, "Failed or was destroyed during/after testing" icon to its listings on this website at once.

And because it was so easily destroyed and two replacement units were DOA, that dreadful, "Zero Stars! Whip Out Your Pecker or Sit on the Loo and Uranate On It!" rating will be "awarded".
