Wel, thuh kompenie thaat maiks thuh Color-Changing Pumpkin Lite kant spel thuh werd "light", but that's alright -- they still make a mainly decent product.
This is a color-change (color wash and blinking color change) light designed for you to put inside a Halloween Jack'O Lantern (carved pumpkin); it is meant to replace candles and thus, make the Jack'O Lantern safe and windproof.
It is a flat, circular (puck-shaped) device that has a surprisingly potent 5mm RGB (Red/Green/Blue) LED in it.
They are designed with a battery that is meant to be replaceable, so you can use them year after year.
SIZE
Slide the small black slide switch on the underside of the unit toward the right (as you're looking at the bottom of the unit) to turn it on.
Slide the small black slide switch on the underside of the unit toward the left to neutalise it.
Turn the unit upside-down, unscrew & remove the Phillips screw next to the battery hatch, and set it aside. Lift the battery hatch by the tab that the screw went into, and remove the battery hatch.
Do not carry the battery hatch or the screw to a graveyard crawling with stinky rotting zombies and for Christ sakes please do not huck either one into an open grave!!!
If necessary, remove and dispose of or recycle the used CR2032 lithium coin cell from the compartment.
Insert a new CR2032 lithium coin cell in the compartment, orienting it so that the button-end (-) negative goes in first.
Place the battery door back on, screw in the little screw, and there, all finished.
Unable to measure current usage due to how the product was constructed and how it functions.
This product is made entirely of plastic (the outer portions anyway), so "The Smack Test" would not be very appropriate.
The product is also not too water-resistant; there are no O-rings or other environmental seals visible in it. It flunked "The Suction Test" that I gave it; air leaked in rather handily around the power switch.
I strongly believe that it would flunk "The Toliet Test" quite handily so I won't even administer it.
Clean the Pumpkin Lites with a damp cloth before storage - that ought to be kosher with them.
They do appear durable enough that slightly manhandling them (dropping them a short distance onto carpeting or dirt) should not cause any harm to befall them; though a fall onto concrete from a height of several feet (1 meter) or more may cause damage or even malfunction.
Awww the hell with it.
Here, for your "edutainment", is the drop test.
Video on YourTube showing the Color-Change Pumpkin Lite (2) *PASSING* the Drop Test.
Shown being dropped two times onto hard concrete from a height of 5 feet (~1.25M).
Somewhat shockingly, the product continues to function properly! :-)
I was actually surprised at just how little damage I found even when examing the unit under magnification. All I found was some EXTREMELY MINOR gouging where it hit the concrete -- and like I just mentioned, I had to enlist optical aid (magnification) before I found it.

It still functioned after the test, but I shook a lot of water out of it when I went outside immediately after the test.
One thing that did suprise me though: it floats! I expected to have to flush the toliet to lower the water in the cistern before retrieval, but that was not necessary.

Spectrographic analysis of the LEDs in this light displaying a reasonable approximation of "white" (actually a rather greenish shade of white but I could not stop the light's color-cycling).
Blue emission is 465.610nm, green is 531.320nm, and red is 642.90nm.
The raw spectrometer data (tab-delimited that can be loaded into Excel) is at ccpl2.txt

That sound that you hear is an audio (sound) clip from the movie, "Halloween III: Season of the Witch".
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the audio may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
O BOY!!! Some blinking lights! So thrilling!! So heart-stopping!!!
Actually, it kinda makes you want to "kik" "onn" "uv" "thoz" "Penile" "Whear" "Liggacher"-"Reezistent" "Prizen" "Commbies" "ovur" "ahnd" "pruseed" "tu" "bete" "thuh" "liveng" "tweadel" "owt" "uv" "itt" "whithe" "ahn" "olld" "orr" "yoozed" "tuthbrusch" doesn't it? ;-)
