This web page will be for nothing but spectra of LEDs sent by Don Klipstein in mid-2020.
Ocean Optics USB2000 Spectrometer donated by P.L.
As of 10-10-07, I've been using a PC2000-ISA Spectrometer from Ocean Optics that I received several years ago, but that I didn't have a home for until now.
As of 03-08-08, I once again have the USB2000 Spectrometer, enabling color spectra again.
As of 09-19-09, I no longer have the PC2000-ISA; it was sold to prevent an eviction.

Remember, this is a DIFFUSED LED; that intensity value is actually quite high!

Interesting enough, the camera that I used (the inbuilt camera in my Samsung Galaxy S5 cellular telephone handset) rendered the NIR radiation as a deep cherry red glow; not all that unlike how the human eye perceives this wavelength of NIR!
Most other digital imaging devices (digital cameras) render these wavelengths as a shade of bluish- or purplish-white.
