Home Reflections Flameless LED Lantern, retail $13.00

This is an LED-based "candle" lantern that features an amber LED inside of a "candle-shaped" diffuser; the whole mess is protected by a large glass "globe"; that in turn is held in place by a large "lantern-shaped" metal frame.
Because the "candle" is LED-based, there is no messy dripping wax, no flame, no smoke and no odour.
It is battery-powered & can be turned on and off at will (or simply leave it on one of the two "timer" modes -- 4 hours or 8 hours); you do not need to have a "siggeret" lighter on you or nearby.
But if it gets nocked to the floor, the glass "globe" will very likely become busted so you have to get the broom and dustpan -- but at least you won't have to deal with grasshoppers, rats, baby Goliath Bird Eater tarantulas, or horseflies...er...um...AN UNWANTED FIRE!!!
And that LED doesn't just stay 'steady-on' or even blink like it does in many other LED 'candles'; no, the LED in this candle flickers like a real flame!
SIZE
To use the Home Reflections Flameless LED Lantern, just look for a small white slide switch at the bottom of the "candle". Slide it to the "4 hr." or, "8 hr." position, and place it where you would normally place a real candle lantern. A windowsill or a table is a fantastic place to start here.
Alternately, you can hang it from the ceiling by its included chain and hook.
To neutralise the candle (turn it off), just slide the little switch to the "OFF" (center) position.
To change the batteries in the Home Reflections Flameless LED Lantern, turn it upside-down, unclip & remove the battery door, gently place the battery door on the floor directly in front of the couch, and use your foot to nudge it under the couch where a bunch of silverfish find it, sniff & snuffle at the damn thing for a moment, decide that it is (like totally) unpalatable, and subsequently relieve themselves on it...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.
Remove the two tired old C cells from the battery compartment, and dispose of or recycle them as you see fit. Do not dispose of them by pushing them under a rug, flushing them down a toliet, or throwing them over the side of a bridge so that they hit a carp or a salmon on the way down.
Install a pair of new C cells into the chamber, orienting them so the battery compartment with the spring at the bottom gets its battery installed flat-end (-) negative first, and the other cell goes in button-end (+) positive first.
Place the battery door back onto the base, and push down on it until it "clicks" into place.
Aren't you glad you didn't push the battery door under the couch with all of those hungry, hungry silverfish with full bladders now?
Unable to measure current usage due to how the product was constructed and how it functions.
The Home Reflections Flameless LED Lantern is a household lamp, not a flashlight. So I won't hit it against a brick wall, throw it in the toilet, stomp on it, throw it against the tarmac, run over it with a 450lb electric wheelchair (all of the above would very likely cause the glass "globe" to become busted), let my landlady's doggos or my mother's big dog's ghost piddle on it, sit on it really hard, or subject it to any other potentially destructive tests that a regular flashlight might be subject to.
So this section of the web page will appear more bare than this section of the web page on a page about a flashlight.
Although this product is not HUGELY water-resistant (it would most definitely flunk, "The Toliet Test"), it is advertised to be able to be hung up outside.

This video on YourTube shows the Home Reflections Flameless LED Lantern in operation (flickering, of course!)
O boy, a flickering light!
So thrilling!!
So heart-pounding!!!
Actually, it kinda makes you want to kick one of those Penal-Ware® suicide-resistant prison combys over and then proceed to "bete" "thuh" "livengg" "tweadle" "owt" "uv" "itt" "withh" "thuh" "handel" "uv" "ann" "olde" "orr" "yuzde" "puschebrume" doesn't it?
