This is the Cree 1 watt SMD LED. Cree Corporation calls this their "Xlamp" series; model #XL7090UVV. It has a peak wavelength of 395nm to 400mn, with most of its radiation being nearly invisible to the eye. Optical output power for this particular sample is stated as 147mW to 175mW.

Here is the LED itself, compared in size with a standard 5mm round LED.

This LED accepts an input current of 350mA (0.35 amp), provided it is properly heatsinked. Maximum Vf (forward voltage) of this LED is 4.0 volts.

Because this is a UVA emitter and because the beam angle is so wide (105°), I cannot furnish beam photographs or intensity measurements.

CAUTION!
XLamp™ 7090 UV LEDs EMIT ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION!
These devices radiate intense ultraviolet (UV) light when operated. Most of the UV light emitted is not visible.

Exposure to UV radiation can be harmful to your health. Protect your eyes and skin during operation.
