DREAM DIARY
If I remember the dream, it will live on here for everyone to remember.
This site started in June '01; after each month a new page will go up & previous ones will be linked here.

MAY 10, 2010
I only remembered a very small fragment of this dream before I could dart to my Dream Diary.
In this segment, I was lying in bed, and looked across the room at my Rainbow Big-Digit LED Alarm Clock, which read "8:15". I immediately thought "O no, I'm late for Feline Maintenance Cycle 047".

There really is a " Feline Maintenance Cycle 047" in the waking world: at 8:00am daily, I feed all three kitty cats, change their water (two bowls), and clean out the plastic cat toliets (litterboxes) (two litterboxes).

In this dream, I was back in my hometown of Juneau AK. USA. At several points, I just magically appeared at a new place; no travelling was involved.
In one segment, I was in a lightly forested area. It was a very mild spring day (temp. was approximately 68°F (20°C), yet I was walking through approximately 1.5 feet of snow. Approx. 15 feet in front of me, large plants were in bloom, and a couple was having a picnic by the shore of a lake. For some reason, I grabbed something (possibly a dead plant) and threw it at some flowering bushes in front of me, causing the release of a large cloud of pollen from yellow flowers on that bush, and possibly causing te picnicking couple to look in that direction.
Then the dream shifted.

In the next segment, I was near Gastineau Channel between the city of Juneau and Douglas Island. I was on the Douglas side. The skies were mostly blue, with only some scattered high, thin clouds. I was looking for cruise ships in Gastineau Channel -- a sure sign of summer.

The last fragment placed me at my mother's house in West Juneau (located on Douglas Island). I remember several members of my immediate family being there: my stepmother and stepsister being among them. I remember asking my stepmother if she had seen Ella (my natural mother); she answered no. I went from room to room looking for her, and found her in the sewing room. We greeted one another warmly and gave each other a big hug. I remember feeling a cold wet spot on my left arm as we hugged; this positioning would have placed her right armpit there. Yuck. :-/

Sometime shortly after this, I woke up.

MAY 30, 2010
This dream had two segments -- both appeared to take place in the same location -- my old home at 3160 Nowell Ave. in Juneau AK. USA.

The first segment initially placed mme in the master bedroom of this house; that was normlly a rather severe no-no. My now-deceased pet rat Missy played a major role here. I believe my stepsister handed Missy to me. She climbed up and went to the end of my arm, and I whispered "You're such a squeaky little mouse" (or some such horse puckey) into her ear. Not long from that, she skittered down me into the overstuffed chair I was in, and she crawled down the cussion and onto the floor. She ran across the room and started going down the hall. I yelled to my stepsister, "Here she comes!! She's in the hall...no, she's in the living room now...o wait!!! Now she's in the dining room!!" Shortly thereafter, I picked her up, and then the dream changed.

In the second segment, I seem to remember having gotten a small padded envelope in the mail. I then somehow ended up in the garage, and told my sister, "I know what I forgot! I need to go get the mail."

I then got on my rollator (a device not unlike a walker, but with wheels at the bottom of all four legs), used one knee to brace on its seat, and used the other leg to propel myself down the street. I could move at great speed (est. 15MPH), and could steer by leaning a bit. Leaing toward the right would cause me to gently turn toward the left, and leaning left would cause me to turn to the right.

Once I reached the mailboxes a bit down the street, I started to open ours, but noticed that the key was broken in half! Not only was that key broken, all of the keys on that ring were busted in the same manner. I headed back home -- using the same method of propulsion that I'd used to get to the mail receptacles in the first place. I set the broken keys on the table; and then attemped to perform some type of repair to them using glue, even though I did not have the front half of any of the keys. My father came in at that moment, and I woke up just as he was starting to say something.

MAY 31, 2010
This dream took place at the old Morrison Apts. in downtown Seattle WA. USA that I lived in from ~1988 to 09-30-1996.
One part of the dream had me checking my mail; it was box #531 exactly as it used to be; only the boxes were arranged differently. My mailbox had a surprisingly large amount of mail in it. Much of it was garbage mail (coupons, circulars, etc.), but among the "good stuff", there were two packs of photographs. I could see part of one photograph where I saw the words "ARGON LASER" and"EXCITER".

The other part of the dream had me attempting to use the elevator to get to my apt. on the 5th floor, but no matter what I did, the elevator failed to reach that floor before heading back down. I was in my scooter (a wheelchair-like device for the disabled -- I use one in the waking world). The elevator was realistically large, but its control panel (with the floor buttons, the "door open" and "door close" buttons, etc.) was needlessly complex -- much more so than the control panel in the real thing. A woman soon entered the elevator, and she too was unable to get the car to stop at the third floor where she wanted off. The elevator eventually stopped in the basement, the doors opened, and (if I remember correctly) would not go back up. Then I woke up.
