DREAM DIARY
If I remember the dream, it will live on here for everyone to remember.
This site started in June '01; after each month a new page will go up & previous ones will be linked here.

APRIL 02, 2006:
This dream had something to do with water and swimming.
I was walking along at water's edge, looking for a place to go swimming. There were two medium-sized ships; possibly of vintage design, docked. The water was crystal-clear; I could see rocks and other objects ten or twenty feet down. Finally, I came to an area that was marked (with signs) that it was OK to swim. So I stepped into the water, remembering to take my "siggerets" out of my pocket before they got douched. I laid on my back in the water and used my feet to propel myself.

A short time later, I met up with another swimmer, and we thought it would be "cute" if he turned me over & over and I yelled "HELP!!!" even though I knew I was in no real danger. Remember though, that this was a dream, and I would never even consider doing something like this in the waking world.

APRIL 07, 2006:
This dream had to do with my now-deceased pet rat Missy. I showed her to at least two other people; they were a bit reluctant until they saw how gentle Missy was, then they carefully petted her and such.
Missy was larger in this dream than she was in real life, but she was realistically gentle.

APRIL 11, 2006:
I don't remember that much of this dream, but it had to do with me and my stepmother sitting in my room (with the room lights turned off), and I was trying to demonstrate an LED scrolling readerboard-type device (not at all dissimilar to this) to her. At first I couldn't get it to turn on and work properly (it was displaying random characters like an arcade video game that needed repair), when I noticed the first unusual thing: it had blue LEDs, not red LEDs as is usual with this type of product. Then I noticed the second unusual thing: it started displaying video in almost-full color! This is also unusual, because it was displaying moving images at a resolution far, far greater than would be possible with a matrix height of just seven LEDs. I grabbed my digital camera to get some photographs of it for my website. She commented about my camera, saying something to the effect of "digital cameras sure are cheap nowadays; is that a Canon?", to which I replied "It's the Nikon that I've had for awhile now" or some such horse puckey. I think I was able to shoot three photographs of it before I woke up.

APRIL 20, 2006:
In this dream, I was at what I believe was an airport. I was not waiting for a flight, but for a ride in a car, truck, or other ground-based vehicle. Inside the terminal building, a stewardess summoned my dad and me into one of what was apparently the woman's restrooms; although there were also men in there going #1 into those wall-mounted porcelain urinators. The walls were painted various shades of green. We were summoned in there to briefly talk about how to go through one of the security checkpoints using just a boarding pass rather than an entire ticket. I believe the plan was successful.

Next thing I remember was being outside and shooting toward the moon with a keychain-sized green-emitting laser pointer, not at all dissimilar to this product. The moon was much larger in this dream than it is in reality, and had a blue plastic dome covering much of its surface. My dad asked me where I got the laser pointer, and I told him I purchased it from a glass-front vending machine on plane in the not too distant past. I also had a red-emitting keychain-style laser pointer, similar to this laser, but I don't remember if I tried to shoot the moon with it or not. I believe I was attempting to hit the moon with the green laser, and seeing if I could see the light reflected back at me with a brief delay (I believe ~500ms).
I woke up at this point.

APRIL 21, 2006:
I forgot this dream by the time I turned my computer monitor on this morning. Yes, I had the Dream Diary open, and even went so far as to position the cursor in the correct location before I went to bed last night so all had to do was type.
I remember that the weather was extremely pleasant, and in at least part of the dream, I was a passenger in an automobile.
