DREAM DIARY
If I remember the dream, it will live on here for everyone to remember.

FEB 05, 2011
This dream was in two distinct parts; yet some of part # 1 linked directly with part #2.
In the first part of this dream, I had a pair of brown shoes; and discovered on their bottoms a three-way slide switch and a round female AC adapter (or charger) receptacle. When the switch was actuated, the entire front half of the upper surface of the shoe flashed with orange, yellow, and yellow-green LEDs. This flashing persisted for several seconds, and then extinguished, But putting the shoe down started the sequence again; so it became quite clear that walking would keep the lights flashing. At that time I wondered if they'd also light up when pedaling a bicycle. The shoe for the right foot appeared to have a failing battery as its lights quickly dimmed, but it sprang back to life at full intensity a moment later. I said to somebody else in the room, "I've had these shoes for over two years and just now realised that they have lights. Guess I'll have to add them to my website now."

The second part of this dream involved me riding a bicycle down the street. I had the flashing shoes on from the last part of the dream. I remember riding over several pedestrian bridges, and shifting gears on the bicycle. I passed somebody else doing doughnuts and otherwise "trick riding" a BMX-type bike in some gravel to my right; only the main gear (where the petals were) was well in front of the front wheel.
I soon found myself entering an Applebees restaraunt; the line at first looked sparse, but when I went deeper into the restaraunt, the line was actually three or four very long lines. A black man was sitting on the floor toward the back of the room; I asked him if he was in line. I believe he answered no, so I went to the back of the shortest line that I saw. I then heard a song; the vocalist sounded as though he were running his voice through a vocoder or an auto-tuner -- or maybe a synthesis of both products. The voice sang the phrase, "No need to wonder why, we loosen up." with a synthetic, almost robotic sound much like you'd expect to hear from the band Kraftwerk.
At this point I woke up.

This dream also had two parts; though I only remember brief snippets of each.
In the first part, I remember my stepmother telling me, "You do that again and you're moving out." (she knows damn good and well that if I had to leave, I'd have absolutely nowhere to move to). I then showed her a tattoo on my upper right arm. It consisted of a lightning bolt inside of a blue rectangle with very rounded "corners". I then said "This was the very first tattoo I got". I have a lightning bolt tattoo in the same place in the waking world, but it is by itself; e.g. it is not enclosed in a box or any other object; it was also the first one that I got.

The second part of this dream had me moving into an apartment. I was in a manual (push) wheelchair, and was entering an elevator. A guy who looked a little like (and sounded a LOT like) Pee-Wee Herman entered the elevator as well. I pressed the "5" button. The doors had just closed when another person was making a run for the elevator. the elevator stopped on the fifth floor and we got out, he went one way and I went another. The man who just missed the elevator appeared, riding this large, heavy iron contraption which I knew in this dream was an excersize bike -- but looked a lot like one of those wheeled pallet jacks. He was blonde, somewhat skinny, and appeared to be in his mid-twenties. He acted and sounded like a faggot; somehow I knew that he was probably the boyfriend of the Pee-Wee Herman look-alike in the elevator. I believe I mentioned to him that I would be getting my electric scooter tomorrow and would no longer be using the manual wheelchair.
Next thing I remember was being in a standing position behind my wheelchair; I held both handles, pushed with my feet, and pulled myself up off the floor so that the wheelchair would roll -- at times quite fast. When I leaned left, I turned right and vice-versa {I know of some situations in the waking world where this is true, so this is not just a "dream manufactured" situation}. After cruising the hallways looking at apartment numbers, I slowed, hung a quick right into a doorway, and stopped.
My alarm clock discharged at this time, snuffing out the rest of this dream.

I only remembered some fragments of this dream before I was able to dart to my Dream Diary and get it opened for write.

I was in the back (kitchen) of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaraunt, and I was carrying a rather heavy bag -- though I have no clue as to what may have been inside of it. I noticed a large metal rack; it was made from tubular steel and was painted a dark forest green -- one of the employees there then told me that "the steel was cheaper than aluminum".

I then heard another employee rather clearly say "Don't put it in the 10-3" (pronounced "ten three") -- the 10-3 is a large pressurised chicken cooker than cook 10 heads of chicken (minus the feathers, heads, necks, entrails, feet, and bungholes of course) on three racks. I used to work at a KFC in 1987, so I know what the 10-3 is. I do not know what the "it" he was referring to was; nothing was discussed about "it" at all.

Sometime later, my long-lost but recently found best friend John Robbins from Arizona called on the telephone and asked me to purchase a 12-pack of some strange type of soda pop. It was similar to Sprite but it was *NOT* Sprite; it had a somewhat bizarre, off-the-wall name. I soon somehow then ended up with the pop (apparently without leaving the kitchen of the KFC -- things just "somehow" happen in dreams from time to time); noticed how heavy my load was (the original heavy bag I had plus the half-rack of pop), then woke up a short time after this.

I dreamt that I was walking through S.O.B. (State Office Building) in Juneau AK. USA., and through most of this dream I carried a ghetto blaster not at all unlike this one. Most of the music coming from it was the song "Monkey On Your Back" by Aldo Nova. Sometimes I carried the jam box with the speakers facing upward toward my head; at other times I carried it by its handle so that the speakers faced outward. I spent a good part of the time looking for the exit; and ended up in several elevators (none like the real S.O.B. has in the waking world); and pushed floor buttons in them as if I knew exactly where I was going, even though I honestly had no clue.

At some point, I looked for and found the men's room, locked myself into a stall, did my business, and carried on. Normally when I have a dream with toliets and/or wall-mounted porcelain uranators in it, I have to "go" when I wake up, but not this time -- which is a first.

On several occasions, I encountered somebody that I knew in the dream, but do not actually exist in the waking world.

At another point in this dream, I lit up a smoke in what I thought was an open-air courtyard, but somebody told me that I was in a no smoking area and to extinguish my cigerette, so I did.
